Website Privacy Policy

Summary

We use cookieless analytics, store no personal data on the site itself, and never sell or share what we collect. There is no cookie banner because nothing we use on bonevil.ca requires consent under Quebec's Law 25.

Anonymous Analytics

We use Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics service. Each page visit records:

• The page you visited (URL)
• The page that referred you, if any
• Your country (derived from your IP address, which is then discarded without being stored)
• Browser type, device type, and screen size
• Whether you clicked the Runyard download button

No cookies are set. No IP addresses are stored. No personal data is collected. Umami uses a daily-rotating salted hash to estimate unique visitors over a 24-hour window without identifying anyone.

Analytics data is stored in the European Union and retained for 6 months.

Contact form submissions

When you submit the contact form, the name, email address, and message you provide are sent to Netlify (our hosting provider) and forwarded to support@bonevil.ca. Netlify keeps a copy of each submission in its dashboard until we delete it. We use what you send only to reply to your inquiry. We do not add you to a mailing list and do not share your message with anyone outside Bonevil.

Third-party services on this site

• Netlify: hosts the site, handles the contact form, and maintains short-term access logs for security. See Netlify's privacy policy.
• Umami: provides the cookieless analytics described above. See Umami's privacy policy.
• Google Fonts: loads the Inter typeface. Google may log your IP address when fonts are fetched. See Google's privacy policy.
• Tailwind CSS CDN: serves the stylesheet from cdn.tailwindcss.com.
• GitHub: when you click the Runyard download button, you are redirected to github.com to download the file. See GitHub's privacy statement.

Cookies

We do not set cookies on bonevil.ca. Third-party services listed above may use their own technical cookies for performance reasons (such as CDN caching). None of those cookies are used by us for tracking.

Your rights under Quebec Law 25

This site is operated from Quebec, Canada, and complies with Quebec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (Law 25). Because we collect no personal data through the site itself, there is little for you to access, correct, or delete here. If you have sent us a message through the contact form, you can ask us to delete it at any time by writing to support@bonevil.ca. The same address can be used to reach the person responsible for the protection of personal information at Bonevil.

Children's Privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect or how it is stored, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be announced on the homepage.
